Irina Emeliantseva is a pianist, composer, and artistic director with an international education and a distinct musical signature. Her work combines structural clarity, expressive sound language, and a special sensitivity for pianistic and compositional dramaturgy.

She began her musical education at the State Conservatory of St. Petersburg, where she studied composition with the renowned composer Prof. Sergei Slonimski and graduated with a diploma in composition. Concurrently, she received comprehensive piano training with Prof. Eismont, which shaped her into a technically accomplished and stylistically versatile pianist. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant in Prof. Slonimski's composition class, deepening her compositional work and gaining her first pedagogical experience at the university level.

After moving to Germany, Irina Emeliantseva continued her studies at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin with Prof. Paul-Heinz Dittrich. This was followed by an artistic advanced studies program with Prof. Hanspeter Kyburz, which significantly influenced her aesthetic development. She then completed a two-year postgraduate program in composition with Dr. Ernst Helmuth Flammer at the Carl Maria von Weber School of Music Dresden.

As a pianist, Irina performs regularly in Germany and abroad. Her recent projects include a concert in Helsinki, which featured both a demanding solo program and a second half on the organ. Her concert programs are characterized by dramaturgical precision, interpretive depth, and a strong personal signature.

Irina has released three solo CDs, documenting her pianistic and compositional work, which have received significant acclaim within the professional community. Her compositions have received multiple awards and have been performed at festivals and concert series in Germany and Europe.

Alongside her artistic activities, Irina has extensive pedagogical experience. She teaches piano and composition at the Strausberg Music School and worked for several years as a répétiteur at the Märkisch-Oderland Music School, successfully preparing young people for competitions like "Jugend musiziert" and for university auditions. Her accompaniment has included voice, violin, and other instruments.

In cultural policy, Irina is active as the chairwoman of the German Composers' Association, Brandenburg State Association, where she advocates for the structural strengthening of contemporary music and the visibility of composers.

Her artistic profile is marked by a deep connection between sound, structure, and personal expression. As both a composer and pianist, she continually seeks new forms of listening and shaping – with an attitude that is equally reflective, courageous, and poetic.
